Sportsman's Rest, Country Pub - Rura

Recently reopened! My visit to this pub today revealed a new, fresh, and clean look. It still maintains its cozy, rustic country feeling. The food was delicious, and enjoying coffee outside afterwards was a very pleasant experience. I will definitely be returning.

This restaurant may appear understated and hidden from the outside, but once you step inside, you will find it to be a top spot. It is welcoming, conveniently located near the IOW coast road, and dog-friendly. The real ale selection is excellent, making it highly recommended. Plus, they even have a jukebox for added entertainment.

Amazing food and exceptional service that makes you feel right at home. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this as one of the top pubs on the island.

Very tasty house cooked food and generous portions to very cheap trips. quick and friendly service from the new owners who have renovated the place. the fish and chips were very good and a super big part. fresh, delicate and crisp. hand-ground ham with nice cooked chips. could not mistake the quality and value ratio and will certainly return very soon.

Fabulous food. We had a traditional Sunday roast, and a vegan Sunday roast and the food was delicious, and served with a smile. Highly recommended.
