Morton's The Steakhouse - S San Diego

We were visiting San Diago and tried Morton's Steakhouse. The service was top notch, and the food was amazing. Our go to place locally is Flemmings however, I think our steak at Morton's was even better and if you can possibly eat another bite, I highly recommend the bread pudding.

Morton's is our favorite steak restaurant, the service food and ambience is superb. Tonight we were greeted by our server joe some, who was a cheerful and tenacious young man. He took our drink order, and brought us a hot crispy onion loaf with soft delicious butter. We ordered the Holiday special which was an aged Kansas steak cooked to our taste, lobster ravioli, cream corn and spinach, house ceaser salad and beef steak tomatoes with blue cheese sprinkled on top. I can't say enough about the food and service. And doing the rounds to make sure we were in our happy zone, Joshua Salzwedel came to greet us, thanks Morton's staff for another perfect dinner

I was there for my anniversary with my SO and they made it feel special from the start, with a special menu that says Happy Anniversary from the start and all the staff that came by our table wished us a happy anniversary too. The food was amazing from appetizers to dessert. We ordered a tomahawk steak with the truffle creamed corn and szechuan green beans (both highly recommended by our waiter, Corey) and everything tasted amazing! I'm the type of foodie that likes to have a variety of flavors so this dinner was wonderful. It was sweet of the restaurant to also take a photo of us and then develop it into a card for us to take home (along with the special menus)! I would definitely want to go here again the next time I'm in San Diego for a special occasion!

Arrived early for dinner reservations, still had to wait about 15-20 min to get sat at an empty restaurant with only 3-4 other tables on a Tuesday. Food, as always, was great. Service was practically non-existent. Just took our order, and dropped off our bill. The server was pleasant enough when he was present.

Our server was great. We knew what we wanted before we even walked in, to enjoy a nice steak dinner with our 7month old, and celebrate Mother's Day. We came in, were seated early, ordered our food all at once, ate, paid, then left. Very simple and the service was perfect. Thank you for a phenomenal Mother's Day meal.
