Lucky Wok Chinese - Sacramento

My family enjoyed Lucky Wok Chinese Restaurant. The service was exemplary. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived and we had food quickly. We had vegetable fried rice, mushroom chicken, orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. All the dishes were flavorful and delicious. The orange chicken wasn't overly sweet and had minced garlic to give it a bit of kick. The mushrooms prepared with the mushroom chicken were fresh and cooked perfectly. There was no hint of overdonesoggyness to them. They were firm and cooked just to the point of losing the snap of a fresh mushroom. The sauce on the honey walnut shrimp was also excellent. The portions are HUGE! I had the sweet and sour pork and my lady had the general chicken. The pork was tender on the inside and had a satisfying crunch. The general chicken was a tad salty, but it was lathered in a delicious sauce. I wish the general chicken was a bit spicier, but I didn't actually ask to see if they could do that. Staff is incredibly nice and attentive. I'm coming back to this place for sure. $10 for a meal that has a mountain of leftovers is worth it,especially since it's good food. Highly recommend. Update: Came back a week later to find they have a lunch special everyday. $8 for a mountain of food. Worth it.

Came here with my daughter for dinner. I bought a groupon a while back and decided to try it. We were seated right away and drink order taken. I ordered the general chicken with the chow mein and my daughter ordered the sweet and sour pork with chow mein. The portions are huge. It came out hot and fresh. I loved the flavor of sauce. The chicken was crispy and so good. The chow mein was good too. I wished it had a little more sauce...but still good. I would for surecome here again. My daughters sweet and sour was good. She let me try it. Pork crispy and fresh... The sauce was really good.

Food was good, has great flavor and the plates of food are big. Really huge portions of food which is great for the price as well! Very affordable plates. I took my mom and my kids here and everyone was happy. I got the chicken chow fun plate and it was only about $11. But lunch prices are even more cheaper. Definitely nice waitresses/servers. I like them all. Very friendly staff. We've been here a few time and the kids love it here.

I had to change my review. Previous review in parentheses. I order here all the time. Portions have been downsizing and prices rising. Latest Salt and Pepper fish had just 6 small pieces for $15.00. Dang! (Salt and Pepper everything!
