I should di ide my review in two sections, the food is great. They have one of the best koobide kabab in Sacramento in my opinion and people working there are really nice. on the otherside as a Persian grocery store, they don't have good variety yet however in last visit I noticed the store has been remodeled and much cleaner compare to before so hopefully they will make the grocery and variety better in near future.
Unfortunately, I have to review this time negatively. This place was serving very good chicken and koobideh kebab. Recently, I came a few times and it was a very bad experience. Koobideh kebab was very rubbery and more fat than lean meat. It was not fresh and tasted funny. As for the chicken, there was no taste in it and tasted plain, except the yellow color. The portion is becoming less and less. The price is going high slightly due to the market inflation. The Combo was $19.50, almost $20.
This place was really good. One of the best actually now the OG that used to make the kebabs in the front is gone. He’s the one that would make sure all your request and needs were met. It’s unfortunate because we love to support small businesses. Now the staff is slightly rude and they don’t really care as for a response from the “owner” save it. I’m just simply sharing the fact that the food is not the same and the original cook is not there anymore. A total of 33 of us will no longer come here anymore.
The best Persian hole in the wall dining experience. Cooked fresh and so delicious. I come here anytime I'm in the area for lunch. The chicken about is as good as it gets but they're combo plate is the true winner!family owned and operated so the value is amazing as well.
