Definitely our go to for breakfast/lunch. It’s the place we always bring our out of state company. I did rate the food 4 this time because I couldn’t eat the burned sweet potato hash. The manager on duty said they have tried several ways to cook them and that is how they come out in order to cook all the way through. I made sweet potato hash today at home and it was nice and brown and also crispy on the outside, cooked all the way through. BTW my husband said they make the best biscuits and gravy he has ever had.
A hidden gem in Safety Harbor. Very well made, to order food. Quality ingredients with great, welcoming service gives this place its 5 stars. The service is welcoming and servers are often around without being over bearing. The pancakes seem to be made from scratch and are very tasty. The syrup as.well is not just store bought and is served warm. Their sweet potato home fries are delicious as well as every part of the meals were extremely well made. The Popeye omelette was really good. The chicken was moist and the ingredients worked well together. The veggie skillet had fresh veggies and was not over cooked. A bit of hot sauce made it just a delight. Definitely a place to bring family and friends for a special occasion, may be a little too pricey for an everyday jaunt but the price is well worth it.
Might be just my new favorite breakfast spot for a post-gym breakfast! All the protein and one of the few places that has cottage cheese on the menu! Our server was very nice and accommodating. Great breakfast and coffee!
Used to be great. This time 100% bad. Simply ordered ham and cheese omelet with American Cheese. And asked for hash browns to be golden brown. What I recieved was Cheddar Cheese. Told waitress. She insisted it was American but just looked like Cheddar. Ok I tried it. It was Cheddar. Not just taste, but as you pulled the cheese, it stringed like Cheddar. Told waitress American Cheese does not string, and I used to be a chef, and this was not American Cheese. And I need to also mention the dark brown hash browns. Making a long story short, they next told me it was a different American Cheese that looked like Cheddar. And the next batch of hash browns were just as bad as the 1st. 2 weeks ago I had the same thing there and it was the best. It had American Cheese like I ordered and was great. We ate only a fraction of the crummy food this time and will not be back. Paid $20 and they didn't offer a discount despite lying to us several times. Sorry to see such a potentially good restaurant turn into a gamble... Sad...
