Oasis - Saguache

We go a few times a year to nearby hot springs. We make sure we stop and bite when we're close. This is not a Frills restaurant that has absolutely delicious food. You can't go wrong with everything you order.

The best Mexican food we had at the age. Standard choices, but authentic. The red Chile sauce is spicy and smokey and complex. The green Chile sauce is somewhat less sharp, but still quite hot, with a lighter grass taste. Both were excellent. Great service. Friendly locals. I'm glad we stopped!

A wonderful oasis of flavors served with genuine, old fashion hospitality for a very fair price. I ordered the page menu and was thrilled with my Enchiladas. Also the salsa with the chips was fabulous. And everything for less than $10. Nothing beautiful inside or outside, but everything else is exactly what you need when you stay or go through the San Luis Valley.

Donnie and sister brought me to lunch at Oasis and I had crushed Burritos in Green Chile. It was delicious. Thanks Donnie and Sis.

We stopped here on our way back to Denver. What a diamond in the rough! This place has great food. A must stop on your way through.
