They wanted BBQ and I wanted Chinese so we flipped a coin and I won. Not knowing where to go Wi Ting Limp asked some of the other Jin Si combatants where to go, and they all said the Great Wall is the best authentic Chinese Restaurant in San Jose! And it was Spectacular!5 stars all day long.
I travel almost 10 miles to eat here...good food and prices are OK. Friendly staff...actually smiling!
The food is amazing! Service was great! It's a little small inside so I'm glad I reserved a table.
My husband and I have been coming here for 2 years. The best sweet and sour chicken , pork fried rice I've ever had. There so nice, if I ask for extra sauce no problem. Best place ever! Toni Jeff Nelson
Wish I could give them a higher rating. I really wanted this to be my neighborhood takeout place. We first tried them a few months ago. Everything tasted OK but the hot sour soup stood out. Very good, not the best around (see my other reviews), calls for more acid and garlic—worth a return visit nonetheless.Second time around and the soup is still good! Our hopes were in for a bit of a letdown though. All the other dishes were over-seasoned, way too salty in the case of the broccoli beef. Mu shu pork, already heavily spiced, needed no additional sauce despite the provided hoisin. Steamed rice was also disappointingly wet.BBQ pork chow mein was the least over-salted dish but comprised more noodle than anything else; a handful of crisp veggies would have been a nice counterpoint. Overall, the ingredients were fresh and ready quickly. Maybe requesting a low sodium preparation would correct for the ramped up flavors
