Several failed attempts to connect in the past, but today was my better half birthday and we finally have luck. This is a simple, simple and functional place that simply radiates class and authenticity. Location is bizarre and a tad hard to find slate in the middle of a campsite / caravan park on the edge of the village Saillagouse. Deception. This is simple, tasty and absolutely fulfilling Korean food, cooked with attention and love. We had a selection that also tried to ensure a very active son with dreams of knights and a very shortened attention span. One of the best miso style soups ever and a wealth of tasty homemade tofu that the young hero crooked hungry. A dish of the mouth Irrigation Skimchee, followed by a version of the pad thai, roasted pork in piquant sauce, rice and some exceptional vegetable croquettes bathed. Large quantities, but always in lively taste and exquisite cooking. This is a wonderful find and will undoubtedly have many repetitions from us. Very professional and with a warm welcome, the last jewel in the crown was the nature and depth of warmth of welcome. A host, Marie, who radiates interest, focus and care for customer needs. This is a simply beautiful place and it is worth discovering and celebrating a small bag of Korea in the Cerdagne.
Best spring roll ever. Fresh and good food. My Spicy chicken was excellent. Really spicy and tasteful. What a great hidden place.
It is now the fourth time that I was there and it was delicious again, fresh. We really had a great time there, this time on the sunny terrace. The wines are also very good, and very reasonable price. The hostess and the cook are very nice people.
Disclaimer My sister and her Husband own and run this place. It 's a two people operation, a true family business. I live in Boston and visit my family once or twice a year if I can. Me and my wife eat at Au Matin...Calme as many times as we can. We live in Boston, USA The Korean community is huge here and I have tried lot 's of Korean restaurants very few were as good and charming as Au Matin Calme over, the view is fantastic. I am proud of my sister and her husband. They have done what few people could have done or even try to do After living for a few years in Australia, my sister Karine and her husband Lee moved back to my hometown, had a son and opened a family own Restaurant. It 's a great success story, they are great people and the food is delicious ! If you are within 50 mil of their restaurant, you should make the detour and try their dishes. My sister will tell you all you want to know about the origin of the dishes, the story of her family and business. She creates a personal experience that many people (including on TripAdvisor) talk about! Bravo to her and her hubby!
The tofu starter was amazing. Best tofu I ever tasted. The Korean spring rolls were also excellent. The main dishes were as good. Even the desert was soooo good! Owned and operated by a lovely couple. He is Korean and an excellent chef and she...is local. The place is a bit hard to find since it is located on a camping ground, but very much worth your effort.
