We found the marina and were on the verge of giving up on lunch when we came across a small parade of restaurants. We decided on the Newport and it did not let us down, the covered and heated terrace protected us from the elements and the gallette's and steak hache provided us with sustenance. Would happily return if we were in the area.
We had a lovely lunch outside overlooking the marina and the beach. The salads and pizzas were very well done. Worth a visit.
Absolute favorite Bar in Rennes, if not my favorite bar everThe bartenders are so nice, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is amazing.
A nice setting overlooking the marina and town, great place in a row of restaurants with inside and outside dining. Food was average, although my friend said the mussels with creme were excellent. I had a burger with a kind of potato bun but came without fries, it was ok but not brilliant. Service was a bit formal but satisfactory and felt a bit rushed towards the end of the evening when lights were turned off before we finished our wine! Must have wanted to go home. Overall average but reasonably priced
As a family of 5 we often fancy different foods if we go out. Newport Cafe was perfect for us as the selection of food was good from gallettes/crepes or mussels to burgers or omelettes. Good service and a good outlook! Perfect for a family...More
