This iconic Maskoutain restaurant has been around for generations and is still very good. Pizza. Poutine. Club sandwich. Everything is delicious.
This is a restaurant for a busy family with children. The father has a beer, the mother has a bad glass of wine, and the family is fed. We were looking for a cheap and relaxing dinner. Disappointment! For our starter, we chose a trio plate - 2 breaded shrimp, 2 chicken wings, and cheese sticks. It was hot and no complaints. ($6.45) My husband had the special with two thighs. ($10.25) The wine selection is either white or red, by the glass, half-liter, or liter. It's really not great quality. ($14.00 for a half-liter) My chicken skewer was like something from a cafeteria. It makes you wonder if it's real chicken. The photo on the menu is much nicer than reality. ($12.95) In short, this is not a restaurant for a treat, but rather for when you just want to get the chore of eating over with. It was our first visit and it will be our last.
Having grown up in St-Hyacinthe, this restaurant (located in another location at that time was already part of the decor. Curiosity brought me back there. Did I idealize this place in my youth, did my tastes have changed? maybe a bit of both. nothing to get started on the wall this restaurant offers, that said, a respectable product for fans of the genre. The legend can continue
