We had a great experience tonight at Le Sant’ana arrived without reservation, but were warmly welcomed, even though the restaurant was almost full. Very attentive staff, and great food, at a very reasonable price. Service was quick, without being pushy drinks and snacks...were served within a few minutes of arrival, which allowed us to calmly decide on the meal. We absolutely recommend this gem of a restaurant.
We have been coming here for a number of years, whenever we are in the South of France. It is an excellent restaurant and a favourite with the family. The food is always cooked to perfection and the menu is varied and interesting. The service...is always very professional and skilled but also friendly. Last night was even better than normal .. thank you . Already looking forward to the next meal there. If you live here or just visiting, make sure you visit and enjoy. Merci, Monsieur Pampini!
We had a couple of hours to spare before a pick up at the nearby airport and this restaurant was recomended in the recently re-jigged port, On first sight impressive, lots of waiters, more people than the other restaurants, gorgeous flowers, good napery etc. Lovely...welcome, a quickly delivered bottle of St. P. with, oh dear, a measly 6 croutons and a teaspoon of tapenade....if you can’t be generous with dried bread and olives..... SO menus perused, fish hauled out off the ice and displayed BUT none of the many staff waiting around could take our order as it was the prerequisite of the owner. Eventually we ordered from a reasonable 35€ menu, gênerous plates of moules farcies, which I felt needed more grilling to make them exciting. I was more than excited by the true rincé doigt...a rarity, instead of chemical wipes. My host had a delicious salmon en croute and I petite friture, the dish of mixed veg bizarre and cold. Liz then made me order the desert included and then went on to demolish a huge baba au rhum plus a plate of profiteroles on her own, much to the amazement of the staff. By this point the owner had relinquished control and was allowing other staff to take food orders’ thus saving other dinners the frustration we had felt. All in all a mostly positive experience.
Just re-opened after re-fit of the Marina and was not disappointed with the excellent food and friendly staff. Phillip the Owner very welcoming of everyone who arrived. Ate there 3 nights and it was superb. Would recommend the Courgette Flowers in tempura batter The lamb and the Chocolate cake was mmmmmm .. although I think everything you were to have here would not disappoint :)
