This is a pleasant cafe type restaurant. Good for informal eating. It was fairly empty on our visit, on a friday, early evening. The food was good. We had a pizza and a Ceasar salad, which they were happy to split so we could have half of each between us. We would happily go again after a shopping trip.
We have eaten regularly at Pizza Del Arte on our trips through France and have found the food to be fresh and tasty. The latest visit saw us try the menu primo, which was very good value. I tried the Vesuvio pizza which was topped with a very nice spicy sausage (spianata calabrese) roasted peppers and merguez de bœuf et mouton on a deliciously thin and crispy base. A real meat feast! My wife had the Margarita pizza which she enjoyed too. We were tempted into finishing with a cafe douceur which was absolutely delightful. As on all previous visits, the service was quick and attentive. A pleasant meal that compares well with the UK pizza chains. My only criticism would be the very limited vegetarian choices available, but this is a common problem in most French restaurants who slowly seem to be waking up to catering for veggie and vegan clientele. Come on, Del Arte, some more choices please!
