Then down a side turning we spotted a bright orange blind shading a couple of small tables on the pavement so went to check it out.The wife of the patron ran through the dishes on offer and my wife chose a salad with quiche lorraine; I opted for moules a la creme. Both dishes were superb, so good in fact that we immediately booked a table for the same evening and returned for dinner - which was every bit as good as lunch. The tragedy was that on both occasions only one other table was occupied. This place deserves to do much, much better..To anyone heading for the Friday night LD Lines ferry from Saint-Nazaire to Gijón, which leaves just before midnight, I would say, arrive early, enjoy an excellent dinner at Chez Boubou, then when you've parked the car on the car deck, you can head straight to your cabin and bed. Leave the cafeteria to the other passengers until breakfast!
