Feedback gevenWe were in St Omer early morning looking for breakfast with no success . so we opted for the Dakota for at least a coffee. We first asked if they did breakfast to be told no by the very smiley lady owner but she said we could have croissants. Good enough to get by, we agreed. She then sent out a young lady to the boulangerie while she made us excellent coffee. The young lady returned within 5 minutes and we were served up the newly baked croissants along with the coffee. Wonderful !. Try that on your next trip to an English café after their breakfast hour.
The place is awfulTwo 18-year olds are running the kitchen, the prices are for grown ups, 70% looked and tasted like canned food.
This restaurant with terrace is really good !___ Customers are welcomed and kindly served.
Le Dakota is a small friendly locals bar that makes visitors very welcome. Situated in the centre of Saint Omer Le Dakota is ideal for a few drinks and to soak up the local atmosphere before dining in one of the many local restaurants. The landlady Christiane will make you welcome. As a locals bar a smattering of the French language is essential. I highly recommend this bar.
