It?s a sunday evening at 6:00pm , there were only two guests in the restaurant at the time and they were havingbánh mì. So i decided to buy 4 grilled pork sandwiches and 4 durian drinks. When i asked them to put ice separately since igotta drive far to get home, the women in the kitchen said it?s going to be an extra $5. I?ve never seen any restaurant thatcharges extra just because ice is separated from the drink, but i said: Ok. Their durian drinks are awesome, so i didn?t mind. But when i went home, me and my family could not finish 1/3 of the sandwiches. They were extremely terrible. They put leftoverpork in all of my sandwiches you know the kind of leftover pork that was overcooked, really dry and chewy after several daysof reheating?? that was what they put in for all my sandwiches. I paid extra for the pork and pate, which all were a waste. Now come to think of it, this is probably the reason why there are only 2 guests at the restaurant on a Sunday 6:00pm. I willnever come back.
Really delicious! Banh Mi was exactly what I wanted to eat, and the congee had a ton of flavor and texture. Really great lunch spot find.
Delicious Bahn Mi (I had the B3) and also walked away with a selection of baked goods and savory rice buns. The woman working patiently explained what was in their hot dessert bar. The banana bread with full length banana slices was worth coming back foralone but I?ll be back to try more of everything!
Another hidden gem in St. Paul. I ordered egg rolls and beef stew with rice noodles. The beef in the stew was so tender and the broth was rich and flavorful. The egg rolls were crispy and the filling was delicious. Service was quick. Definitely go duringthe off hours so you can be seated right away.
The taste is not good like the first time I try. I think most people like their Rice Vermicelli w Spicy Beef Soup (Bún Bò Hu? and Vietnamese Sandwich (Bánh Mì . For me, Rice Vermicelli w Spicy Beef Soup (Bún Bò Hu? is not too much special thanothers place, but I will try Vietnamese Sandwich (Bánh Mì next time. I ordered Combination Broken Rice (C?m T?m ??c Bi?t andit tastes good except the Chinese Sausage. By the way, I recommended you should try their Cream Puff (Bánh Su Kem .
