To say that it was ok is giving it too much credit.food is overpriced for what u get (4 pieces of chicken including one that was half the size of the other pieces).rice had some dried out pieces in it.if we wanted leftovers (thats what it looked like) we would have gone to my friends place and raided the fridge.wish i checked before leaving but it was takeout.we didnt have to wait long but would have waited alittle to get fresher better quality food. I used to order here as it was the best middle Eastern food in town. The original owners sold the place and the new owners are scamming everyone. I ordered double chicken. It was less than a regular order, just spread out atop my rice and cold, even though having picked it up promptly. Shelby's will have my business going forward. We thought we would give this place a try. We love Indian food. We ordered the butter chicken. The flavour was great but I need to share that there were six one inch cubes of chicken in the entire large dish. Next, we ordered the chicken kebab appetizer. This was so overcooked that you would have to guess what this was made of, it was dry and could not be cut with a knife. Finally, we ordered two samosas. These too, were overcooked and dry. To top it off, the Naan was a puffy thick bread, not like we are used to from many other Indian restaurants. We gave the place a shot but will not be back. Some work required to cook the food appropriately and change the contents of the butter chicken to represent a reasonable portion.
