The cream of green vegetable soup was delicious and prettily served. The soup a l'oignon gratinee was one of the best I have had. Service was very good. Prices were very reasonable. They bake their own bread, smoke their salmon themselves and make a variety of products on-site.
A pride, their products are distributed all over Quebec, a local and family-owned business. It's a breakfast café, with an open kitchen, a bakery, a place for exchanges and meetings, and for people like me who don't eat sugar, it's a real treat to go get coconut balls, homemade granola, and other small cookies - the spaghetti sauce is excellent! Why not open on Saturdays, grrrr.
If you are looking for a place to eat that is not part of a chain, this is it. This family run bistro lunch take out venue is worth trying if you're in Saint-Adele. The place used to be a hardware store, the owners closed it and opened a restaurant. The whole family works there. The food is fresh and delicious. It's bit of the beaten track but worth the trouble. They offer vegetarian dishes. A lot of the locals come in to pickup there order.
Peu de stationnement mais excellente nourriture pour déguster dans le restaurant ou pour apporter. Le piano dans la pièce est accordé et fait un bel air de salle familiale.
Very good quality product and food. Affordable, good service and beautiful decoration. Definitely worth a visit (Mont-Rolland).
