Deluxe French Fries - Sait John Canada

Wow...I understand that fries can be greasy, but this was unacceptable! The taste of grease is still bothering me two days later. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I have to give some love to this location, Deluxe at Brunswick Square is excellent. Food is always prepared about as quickly as McDonalds, but the quality is always far superior for sure. The prices are actually very reasonable for the food they serve and tastes good. Staff is always very friendly and they do their best. I've never had bad food or treatment at this place in the nearly 4 years I've worked nearby, so kudos.I'd also like to take a second to say that anybody looking for a hamburger (chicken fish burgers excluded) will be dissapointed, but it's not Deluxe's fault the McDonalds next to this location has some sort of agreement with the building owner that they are the only ones allowed to sell burgers, so Deluxe's hands are tied which is sad. At least their chicken and fish burgers are tasty.

I feel nostalgic every time I visit Saint John and eat at this restaurant. The food is still delicious and the portions are generous, especially considering that other places in Canada will charge almost $20 for a similar fish platter that doesn't compare to the one at Deluxe. The location on Rothesay Avenue is just as good. It's great to see this restaurant still around.
