Looked like a 1970s men's correctional facility. Avoid Saydes in Salem Nh at all costs. Trust me I just saved you a wasted weekend day or night.
I went to Sayde's for the first time and was blown away with how good the food was. I was with a party of five and everybody's meal was terrific. It's a casual atmosphere and I highly recommend Sayde's.
Sayde's is exactly what you expect it to be, and that's what makes it great. What else in life can you count on with this kind of dependability? It's got the whole dive bar thing rocking, TVs abound to watch the Celtics, or whatever New England team you're cheering for. The beer is served in bottles and cans no need here for fancy draft beer taps! Burgers are a thing of perfection at Sayde's. They're are huge and mine was served perfectly. Sayde's, I'll be back and of you not tried Sayde's you should find a reason to stop in there and get a burger and a can of beer!
First time going here. Apparently it has been owned (Sayde) and operated by the same family for years. It is a nice local place that serves Lebanese food and American food. Very different from most bars you happen across. The atmosphere is somewhat friendly and plenty of seating for a small place. The food was good but I only ordered the Lebanese food. Wanted to try something different and I had no regrets. It seems that there is a lot of locals who come enough to help out but generally speaking. There is only 1 bartender and she doubles as the waitress. It can take a bit to get a drink or service. But all and all, it is local and I will support the local place.
Food is very good. Staff treat you like family.Great little hideaway
