Atmosphere and service were great, pretty quick considering we came in during the dinner rush, portions are fantastic, food was just lacking a little flavor, but other than that I would still recommend this place.
I visited this place around 8 p.m. on December 26th. In my opinion, the most crucial aspect of a restaurant is the host. However, the host I encountered that day was the worst I’ve ever encountered. I’ve worked in restaurants for the past 7 years, understanding that tough days happen and moods may not be ideal, as we are all human. However, the female host that day exceeded acceptable limits. We informed her about the size of our group, and she assured us she would seat us shortly. After 15 minutes, she asked us again, as if she were meeting us for the first time. She seemed excessively disorganized and unable to control her emotions. Not only our table but others also inquired about the female host. Ironically, she was even seen eating and drinking at the host station. I believe this issue is not just a result of a bad day but a deeper problem with her attitude. With such a great location, interior, and delicious food, it’s disheartening to see the host negatively impact the overall experience. I believe the restaurant manager should take proper action.
The restaurant had pretty good service, and the interior is really nice. The sangria rosa was quite good, and the risotto with shrimp was delectable. We also really enjoyed the bruschetta sampler, which leads the reader to wonder: why such an okay food rating? The pasta brio. It looks lovely on the menu and in photos, but in actuality, is passable. If I 'm paying $20 for a pasta dish, passable does not suffice. The sauce was good, but the veggies ' texture was off, and the chicken--THE CHICKEN. The chicken is what made me write a review. Toughest chicken I 've ever eaten in an Italian dish in my entire life. It might as well have been jerky. In fact, I just spent 10 minutes flossing to remove the chicken from my teeth. I was scarred by this chicken, but generally always have meat with my pasta, so I stubbornly still finished it. Again, everything else was pretty good, but this one chicken experience compelled me to warn others of the poultry peril you may experience. Should 've gotten the lasagna!
We really enjoyed our meals here. Still thinking about how good it was days later
