The cheese ravioli bites were delicious. I was curious because I had never seen anything like them. For the pizza we had half pink pizza, half NYC Supreme. I love pink pizza, but this honestly was basically a cheese pizza. I couldn't tell there was even ricotta mixed in with the marinara. The Supreme pizza was pretty good and the marinara sauce had a good flavor. I'd go back, but I'd get a different kind of pizza and keep the price in mind.
Ordered slices of sausage and plain cheese. Love it! Just missing oil running down our arms and we could have been back in Brooklyn. Yum. Crust was crispy and we can fold the Pizza just as a New Yorker would. Love the decor and the music.
Este has been a go to favorite of ours for years. Their big NY style pizzas are delicious and perfect for sharing. And the Este salad is awesome with all of the goodies on top. Too bad they no longer make their best tomato vinaigrette dressing , but the pesto ranch is a great runner up. If you're feeling really indulgent, get some garlic knots! Always hits the spot!
I really wanted to like Este, with it's great design, fun atmosphere, and, most importantly, it's close proximity to my house. We've driven by so many times and finally decided to give it a try. So we ordered what looked like the tastiest item on the menu- the Clay. We meat lovers were drooling over the idea of it. We called in our order and were told that because it was a busy Saturday night, it would be minutes before it was ready. Of course that was fine so we showed up for our pizza about minutes after our call and ran home to ravish it. But unfortunately we were met with disappointment after disappointment. Our pizza was cold, clearly ready long before minutes and had been sitting out on the counter. A quick call to let us know it was done sooner than expected would've sufficed but alas... Even after being reheated in our microwave, the pizza was nothing great. The meat was all rather flavorless, particularly the meatballs that we were so excited for. They were dry and tasted like they'd been sitting out for a few days before being put on our pizza. The crust was tough and boring with absolutely no flavor to it. Unfortunately, Este did not live up to our expectations and we felt like it was a waste of While I like to give every eatery a second chance before writing a negative review, I have no intention of going back when there are a million other pizza joints in Salt Lake.To summarize, my husband said I think I like Dominos better.. So if that doesn't tell you anything I don't know what will!
The Clay pizza is basically their meat lovers. Very good flavor. I’m usually not a big fan of New York style pizza but this one was pretty good. The service was actually fantastic. When I went to pay my bill I had found out that my credit card number had been stolen and they worked with me while I got it taken care of through my credit card company.
