One of the few restaurants open at 7:00 to have dinner, so we ended up here in front of our evening plans. Service was fine, but dinner wasn't at all. The steak was overcooked, bad quality and you had to look for the meat under the sauce. A steak with roquefort sauce was more cheese with steak and the steak with champignons was with champignons from a can and the sauce was not nice at all. Wine was good, but that was chosen by ourselves and Argentina has beautiful cheap wines.
We came to Curlys when it was the only place that was open for lunch on the new year. Our food was OK, the ambience pleasant, the staff very friendly and the prices moderate. It was all right for an emergency meal, although I probably wouldn't plan a lunch/night here.
A friendly, welcoming bistro. To be honest, the main reason to come here was that this was the only place in this part of the city that had all customers. (We eat early). Nevertheless, a great service and attentive staff.
We went in for empanadas and a drink. Lots of empty tables. Food and service were ok but we were not tempted to go back for dinner.
