Boss Bagel - San Antonio

Just found out about Boss Bagel on Monday with some friends who were visiting and it is so good that we are already back here on Friday! Their specialty bagels are hearty and priced great. The staff is friendly and helpful with recommendations on their wide selection. Their coffee is excellent and locally sourced. This will be a regular spot for my wife and I!

Having lived in NYC, I 'm not overly impressed with bagels in San Antonio. (HEB, please, stop calling your round bread items with holes in the middle bagels. BOSS Bagels are the best we 've found. Love the Classic Sandwich. And we always get extra bagels for the week. My wife likes their coffee.Food: 5/5

The atmosphere was fantastic. The service was very friendly and efficient. The food wasn’t as good as we hoped. Bagels themselves were good but not outstanding. The bagel sandwiches with bacon, egg and cheese were enjoyed. The two bagels we asked for toasted weren’t, so that was a disappointment. And the tomato we paid for to be added on was one small slice that didn’t even come close to covering the size of the bagel. The smoked salmon didn’t taste very good. We would definitely go again if we are in the area but might not seek it out as without trying some other places first.

This place never disappoints! We have been going for a couple of years now, and never have had an issue, both take out and dine in. The bagel sandwiches are outstanding and oh so tasty. The portions are huge and very filling. An excellent value. The staff is cheerful and helpful. We'll be back again and again.Parking: Located in a strip center, parking shouldn't be an issue.

I usually love boss bagels. The food is always amazing, but I went today on Mother’s Day and ordered like I normally do, but Katie decided to key my order in differently than I asked. My order came out wrong with melted cheese all over it and I didn’t notice until I was 20 miles away. Very disappointed. Key in the order the way it’s asked. I just wanted my favorite bagel to start Mother’s Day and I did not get that.
