Denny's - San Antonio

I recently enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Denny's, located just two blocks away from the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio. I ordered a stack of tasty pancakes, a generous decanter of syrup, sausage links, and coffee, all for only $6 plus tip. The service was top-notch, provided by a very friendly waitress who worked diligently and efficiently. Although the breakfast options at Denny's are a bit too high in calories for someone health-conscious like myself, I still found it to be a great treat. Thank you, Denny's!

As soon as me, my fiancée, my mother and my street brother came in we were seated quickly. We got our drinks fast. We got our food order in no time at all. The service was excellent and I would recommend friends to eat here.

Had to wait almost 10 min to be seated. They were not busy atm. The kitchen at this dennys is wack. You could hear servers calling for forgotten items. My plate wasn't as ordered, and my sausage gravy was with out sausage and just clumped in one area. I had to ask our server for more, and the sausage. BUT I will say that Jeremy H, was amazing!! The host or whoever gave him the 3 tables(ours included) that had just come thru the door. 3 tables at once. He was efficient and fast. Got to each table one after the other and was polite and if he was pissed about the triple seating, it did not show one bit. He deserves a raise or gift card. Maybe a job offer where his efficiency is better used than a **** dennys. the star rating is for out table service and NOT the resturant itself.

I was pleasantly surprised. Don't be deceived by the parking lot being jam-packed. I thought we were going to have to wait a while but we were seated immediately. The staff was friendly and courteous and our waitress kept checking in to see if we needed anything. The food came out in a timely fashion and was good. I ordered the creature own and for the price it came with plenty of food.

The restaurant was clean and very cold, the staff was nice and friendly. The food was freshly prepared. It cost $60 for a family of 5. We ordered chicken fried steak with tea, fried chicken tender salad with soda and a slice of strawberry cheesecake, French toast eggs combo with a soda, and 2 kids pancake egg sausage meals along with 2 chocolate shakes. Overall, not bad. It had been a long time since we had been to Denny's.
