Papouli's Greek Grill - San Antonio

Visiting from Florida, Was planning on eating lunch there today but after reading all the bad reviews i have decided to pass. Two things discourage me; one: a lot of negative reviews, most for cleanliness. Two: management response. Most restaurant managers owners apologyze to the customer and offer a solution to fix or and improve the situation. These guys just copy and paste the same response for every bad experience. Usually I dont let a bad review keep from visiting a restaurant but this is too many...

It was so hot in there, no air. I also saw roaches by the build your bowl area. Near the protein area. The restaurant smelled like sewer and floors were sticky. This location should fail inspection. It was my first time there. I will never go back NEVER.

My husband has never been to a Genghis Grill. We stopped in for lunch and we were highly impressed with the service and the food!!! A great place to hold a meeting or gathering and everyone I. Your group can be picky and still enjoy! ????Vegetarian options: The restaurant offers plenty of vegetarian options such as tofu, vegetarian protein, numerous veggies!

Filthy establishment, from bathroom stalls with graffiti to roaches running across the floor in the middle of the day. We left before our food even came out. We very nicely told the manager to please cancel our meals, when she asked why I told her we saw a couple of roaches and she immediately just said okay, not surprised, and did not address us any further. She just told the waitress to charge our drinks (over $7 for just two drinks! . Not a single apology or anything... huge red flag. Waitress was very nice, though.Do not eat here.

Waitress was Amazing!! She was very attentive. However, vegetables were brown and food didn't taste right! Restaurant smelled like sewer and had roaches..Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND eating here!Go to HuHot instead!
