The Lion Indian Cuisine - San Antonio

Went during the lunch buffet and really enjoyed everything. Pretty much filled up on chicken Tikka masala, but several of the available dishes were good.Typically Indian food is very spicy, this was not, which didn't produce the big, vibrant flavors I am used to from Indian food. In the flip side, it gave my kids the opportunity to try everything. Totally ok with that trade-off.Enjoyed quite a bit and I'm sure we'll be bank next time we have a hankering for Indian food.

Amazing Indian food. Went to the lunch buffet and everything was hot and fresh!. So much flavor in all of the dishes. The service was great and the place is very clean. Highly reccomend, you will not regret it!

Located at Hausman and 1604, The Lion Indian Cuisine offers a great little buffet for lunch, Mon thru Friday, something you wouldn't expect in this neck of the woods. Reasonably priced, with standard Indian dishes and naan and desserts, The Lion serves up authentic tastes and flavorful dishes, thus hitting the mark for a quick lunchtime bite.

Very nice! Quick and delicious Indian food. Totally recommend. Actually spiced. Generous portions.Ordered to go so can't speak to the atmosphere but looked nice and clean inside!
