Trattoria Fugazza

After driving around Oltrepo in a cold day, we ended up enjoying amazing food. After having lunch, the chef gave me a little wine taste and I bought a couple of wines from the region. Finally he talked with us about places to go around and also suggested cities and food. Thank you for a wonderful time

We suddenly had to stay in this lovely area in Lombardia and were advised to have our supper here. Such a good advise. Even though we were the only customers (because it was the day before Ferragosta (when every restaurant is fully booked) we were extremely happy to be in this charming restaurant with amazing views over the vines. The food was excellent; the aubergine filled with goats cheese and prawns was delicious as well as the pasta with truffels (lots and lots).

A local restaurant with decent food. Friendly staff and good prices. We ate ravioli with beef and gnocchi. The beef was a bit overcooked but tasty.

Simple menu however well prepared (with attention and care). So, yes it takes a few minutes but the location offers much to enjoy. Served nicely by staff. Pricing certainly NOT expensive so don't understand the 3 euro signs. 2 will do if you eat primi and secundi 1/2 liter of wine water ad coffee for 48 euro's. Well done!!!

We visited the Trattoria Fugazza as part of a September wine tour out of Milan in the Oltrpo Pavese wine country. We were stunned by the beautiful view from the trattoria and the warmth and charm of the staff. We had an incredible meal, matched perfectly with wines from the region. We also loved talking with Stephano and Louisa, chef and owners, and were very impressed with their interest in and commitment to the slow food movement! From appetizers to dessert, a completely we had a completely engaging and enjoyable experience.
