Davanti Del Mar - San Diego

Friday for the date night. the restaurant was busy, but I could get a table without problems. they felt underaffected as the service was very slow. I had the seafood linguini and it was tasted with little. my wife had the pasta bolognese and it had been eating even after we had ordered it without. they then had to pour it up again and the pasta was overcooked and muddy. Unfortunately, eating was not good enough to come back.

Wow! The appetizer with ricotta cheese on a warm, crispy, and light cracker topped with honeycomb is absolutely delicious! It's my favorite meal in the world, and if everyone could try it, the world would be a better place!

This place is fantastic. The food is delicious and they have a great selection of wines. Make sure to try the focaccia di Recco - it's a must!

The food, service, and location were excellent. If I had to be nitpicky, the music was a bit loud, but it wasn't a major issue.

We are repeat customers at Davanti, always a family favorite. We were celebrating a birthday this time and the food was delicious like always. We ordered a lot and unfortunately it all came out at exactly the same time which really never happens there so it felt a little rushed/overwhelming but the quality of the dishes made it ok. So delicious.
