Farmer's Table Bay Park - San Diego

Went for Restaurant Week was really let down. They advertised a 16oz NY Steak on the menu but it was the worst piece of meat I’ve ever had and it was probably 8oz at best. I’ve had better steak at ihop. My gf couldn’t even finish her steak because it was so bad. I left very upset that I just spent $150 on a dinner that was only worth $20. Maybe the food was bad because I ordered off the restaurant week menu but I’ll never come back here.

2 of us went for restaurant week. The appetizers were fine, and the bread pudding dessert was delicious. The lamb rigatoni was excellent, but the New York strip was the worst cut of meat I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Very disappointing visit, overall, and will not be coming back.

The service was great as everyone was very attentive, and we have our order very fast. the pappardelle court I ordered was incredibly bland and there was no taste. I had to ask how the chefs could screw up a little bit as simple as pasta. in order to deteriorate the things, it was clear that the chefs in the back did not measure the right ingredients, as the court was incompatible with taste and presentation. one of the records we received was even dirty, which made for an inconspicuous presentation. to supplement injuries, the pizza we ordered was burned on one side and fine on the other side. it was clear that the pizza was not properly cooked and the uneven kitchen made it difficult to enjoy the dish. overall, eating was a big disappointment. the quality of eating was bad and the lack of carefree in the kitchen was obvious. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying eating.

The service was excellent! eating was phenomenal! we celebrated the birthday of my man and the waitress was eager to help us with a delicious dessert (brotpudding.) we all had a great time and look forward to the return flight.
