Cafe Seventy8 - San Francisc

I only go here for lattes, although the food here looks amazing. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. The barista Kevin is one of the best latte makers in the city. He's like a Zen master making lattes.. lll be three deep in line and by the time I have reached the register Kevin will have a high quality latte waiting for me. I bring my bicycle in when I order and they just smile and admire the bike. They always make me feel welcome. I don't live in the neighborhood but whenever I pass through I make sure to stop and have a latte. Especially on a nice sunny day when I can sit on the sidewalk and admire my fellow San Franciscans .

I have been coming here for over 10 years. As someone who historically hasn't gotten excited by sandwiches, Cafe Seventy8 changed that for me. I order their Spicy Soppressata probably 80% of the time, but their chicken sandwiches are also perfection. The sandwiches are hearty and filling. Pro tip: get their English muffin breakfast sandwich it is amazing so fluffy and perfect. The cafe is a beautiful hangout spot and the owners are lovely people.
