Applebee's Grill - San Francisco

Had a pleasant experience at Fisherman's Wharf. I went in for drinks and food and received excellent service from Ricky and Addison. They were both friendly and attentive, making sure I had a great time. They even offered recommendations on the menu and customized my drinks to my liking. I left feeling very satisfied and will definitely return to dine there again when I visit San Francisco.

The restaurant has a great location and offers good food and service. However, my only issue is with the cleanliness of the restrooms. The restrooms were not properly cleaned on Oct 8 at 12pm, which was quite disgusting. If it weren't for this, I would have given this place 5 stars, especially considering everything else was fantastic.

The restaurant offers a beautiful view and excellent service (thanks to our waiter Christian who checked on us frequently), but unfortunately, the food and drinks were disappointing. We ordered two Halloween-themed drinks and a perfect margarita, but they were overly sugary and tasted more like soda than alcohol. For our meals, we ordered salmon, 4 cheese mac and cheese with honey-glazed chicken, and bourbon chicken and shrimp. The salmon was dry and overcooked, while the mac and cheese was overly sweet and tasted nothing like traditional mac and cheese, with a sugary Alfredo-like texture and flavor. However, the bourbon chicken and shrimp dish was delicious, with well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, juicy and tasty chicken. Overall, this restaurant may be a good choice for a cheap meal with an okay view of the bay.

The only reason I have to give a 1 is because it doesn?t give us the option to give 0 stars. This Applebees is the worst one we have ever been to. For starters we were waiting so long to get seated. We were a party of 5 adults and 3 kids, the host made aface when we said it was 8 of us. When they sat us down the girl just left the silverware on the table and walked away withoutsaying a word. We asked for a high chair twice and we had to go get it ourselves. The server we had took forever to bring outour drinks, they were mainly WATERS. Once we got our food we didn?t get served at all anymore, the server didn?t come back tosee if we needed anything else, didn?t come ask if we wanted more drink. I asked for more napkins twice and neither time didthey come back. We used the restroom once when we got here and we told the staff the floor was full of water and that is neededto be cleaned, they ignored what we said. We left the restroom again and it was worse the second time back on! We were here morethan 2 hours and we only got our food given to us that one time and it took them at least 30 minutes to bring out our tab. Ifyour service sucks at least try to be nice. Everyone that we ran into to ask for help was rude.

This Applebee's is in a perfect location. Nice views of the Wharf area. Good food and beer selection. They have happy hour!
