Feedback gevenIn February 2024, my family and I had a wonderful dinner at a restaurant on a Thursday night. We had pre-ordered the chicken stuffed with sticky rice, which was a fried chicken with a tasty mix of ingredients inside. The Peking Duck was excellent, with very crispy skin. The fish fillet with asparagus was a big hit as well, being simple yet perfectly cooked. The white chicken with ginger sauce was another delicious dish. We also enjoyed the pork belly taro clay pot, which is a rare find nowadays. Overall, we had a pleasant family dinner to celebrate Chinese New Year.
I have been ordering Chinese New Year dinners from this restaurant for years, and our friends and family absolutely love the food. The family-run restaurant is extremely friendly. I highly recommend the beef chow fun, whole steamed sea bass with ginger and scallion, Peking duck, dry braised string beans, and mu shu chicken. They are also known for their famous sticky rice stuffed chicken dish (which I have yet to try). If you want to order the steamed sea bass and sticky rice stuffed chicken dish, make sure to do so 24 hours in advance.
I have been dining at this restaurant since 1989, and despite changes in ownership, it continues to be excellent.
The food was good. We didn't have to wait very long for the food to come and the waitress was nice.
Reasonable prices, friendly and fast service. Enjoyed some apps, chicken with broccoli and prawns with vegetables. We tried some of the spare ribs with duck sauce — I think if you like them fried they’d be more your style but it wasn’t for us. Seems that duck dishes are their specialty.
