Farmer browns has unfortunately closed. it was great

This restaurant was closed and they didn't even have a sign on the door or something to inform customers. it was very strange

I am from louisiana and this is my place when I am the often deceased southern dishes such as greens, fried cats and above all gumbo (farmerbrown is the absolute best.) a friend and I decided to go for a post-Thanksgiving lunch on this Friday and were able to chat a nice quite quiet 2 hours about delicious food. Although I love the place for the above mentioned food, the mushroom omelette was exactly what I needed on this day. many thanks for existing farmerbrown!

I like my hair to have a bit crispy coating, the hawn here seems literally boiled fried in oil. the gries were not creamy and the cheese sat just up like a blob. I ordered a watermelon margarita, but got a regular one for which I was overcharged $5. the cookie was bad and there was no butter. the best parts of the meal were the chicken sausages and the carrots.

The service was very friendly but also very slow. The menu really looks and sounds good, but I found that the plates weren't well executed. Kind of expensive for what it serves as well.
