Near identical sushi offerings at what seems a sister restaurant of another conveyor belt option in Japantown Mall. Choose between the two based upon the preferred interior decor — here appearing a bit more upscale.Sushi is fresh, and solid, though seeking something particular may require a direct order to sushi chef. Raw black sweet shrimp (amaebi) a treat from the belt.
I'm not understanding the generous reviews here. First, the wasabi they served us was brown on the edges, indicating freezer burn wasabi. They didn't even bother scraping off the brown parts. Second, the fish and rice quality are vastly not worth the price. The rice is barely reasoned at all and the fish doesn't taste high quality. How can Nijiya market sushi be better than this? This place used to be my family's go-to spot and now I am disappointed.
Better than Kura !But I don’t recommend this place if you looking for real sushi , this restaurant just like American sushi , made from Mexican worker .
Rarely in Japan Town and wanted to get sushi. Service was good but the sushi was just o.k. Some of the sushi plates didn't taste fresh...there is a similar restaurant further at end of the mall before you exit...way better. Won't be returning.Food: 3/5
