Oh my goodness, where to start? We have been there multiple times lately, and each time, the pasta was glorious, the service delightful, the atmosphere so conducive to enjoyment, the wine fantastic, the desserts perfect. Not to forget, their wine selection is breathtaking, the little gourmet surprises I found to take with us (asparagus pate or the best pannetone in all of Italy, etc) were an absolute marvel. WOW.

We were driving back to Lucca from Pisa and decided to take a back road. We needed to make a U-turn and got lost in a housing development. When we emerged, we were in a small town and noticed this wine bar. Soups and sandwiches were offered for lunch.The house red wine was first-rate and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff couldn't be nicer. I bought a bottle of Vin Santo to take home and our waitress wrapped it very well for me. I don't believe English is spoken but we managed fine with Google translate by our side for the food.

Simpatica e ben fornita enoteca dove è possibile accompagnare al vino semplici ma originali taglieri. Ambiente semplice ma ben tenuto e decorato. Vino secondo i desideri. Servizio a volte lento ma esperienza da ripetere
