365 Mediterranean Deli - San Jose

One of San Jose’s hidden gems!! ? It’s truly one of the city’s best kept secrets!! ?365 Mediterranean Deli has the most fabulous Mediterranean food you could ever experience. Prices are great, presentation is spot on and talk about the portions! They use quality ingredients and you can certainly taste it, feel it and it is to die for!! This deli is now on my regular visit and have lunch every time I come into SJ for sure!!

Insanely large portions and mixed bag: Starting with the good: the pastrami was not bad and had a lot of melty cheese. It was enough for 2-3 people. The fries were crunchy and hot and a large portion. The gyro is where the review falls over as the meat missed the mediterranean spice flavor and had no crusty caramalized crunchy bits that one craves when ordering a gyro. The weird mayo sauce smothered everything and made things worse. The portion was enough for 2-3 people also. If you are thinking of caramalized lamb beef shaved off of a rotating spit with that caramalized outside delisciousness, this was the opposite of that. The only reason for three stars is the pastrami panini the fries. If this review were based off the gyro alone then zero stars. You have to love what you do for it to come across in the food and this was definitely not the case.

Amazing delicious Mediterranean eats with generous portions and a good price! All of this food with 2 drinks was $40. Chicken gyro salad and spicy chicken gyro wrap with a side of falafels. The gyro is excellent! My hands are very large, and this salad makes them look like toy hands! Biggest gyro wrap I've ever tried to eat! I highly recommend this place, and I will be back here a lot.

Excellent food and large portions. Ordered several items, all of it was fresh and delicious. What a hidden gem.
