Honey Baked Ham - San Jose

The place was packed with fellow ham enthusiasts. After parking, I stood in what felt like a long line of about 60 to 70 people, but the wait from the end of the line to the front door was only 12 minutes. Once inside, there were over 15 people in line, and I waited an additional 5 minutes. Finally, I placed my order for 9 pounds of delicious ham and paid $19.99 for an oven-roasted turkey. This restaurant consistently delivers on taste and quality, and the mouthwatering aroma of ham fills the air. We plan to refrigerate our beautifully seasoned ham and turkey for three days, and I’m sure they will be delightful. Honey Baked Ham is a fantastic shop that offers great customer service and is well organized, with impressively short wait times. The greeters were friendly and upbeat, even with a bit of grumpiness in the air from those waiting in line. That frustration is understandable, as we all shared the same goal: to buy delicious ham to bring joy to our families on Thanksgiving. Cheers to a happy Thanksgiving and a merry Christmas! Given the time of year and the high demand, our pick-up for Thanksgiving Day ham went surprisingly smoothly. As always, we had pre-ordered a 9-pound ham for Monday pick-up. When we arrived at 11 AM, the parking lot was completely full, and the line extended around the building. However, we only waited just under an hour to reach the counter. We were fortunate to get in line when we did; shortly after, a rush came in, and the end of the line disappeared behind a stream of cars. The staff were friendly, courteous, and efficient, which was especially commendable considering the enormous crowd they were handling. We truly appreciated their hard work.

The sliced turkey breast was excellent, along with the Honeybaked mini ham and tri-tip. To top it off, the original New York cheesecake was delightful.

I last visited here two days before Christmas and the curbside pickup line of cars extended back past the stop light. I had no trouble finding parking though and the line wasn’t too long. Their food was great as usual. I got a honey baked ham and oven roasted turkey breast. For Thanksgiving I got a pumpkin cheesecake which was delicious.
