We wanted to invite the family for a special meal prior our departure in San Juan and we were SUPER disappointed in both service & food! Meals weren't cheap, avg $110-$150 Pesos per head but the quality was poor. We were a party of 7 and not one single dish was to satisfaction. 3 of us had Sorrentinos (pasta) and we had to send them all back for reheating after waiting over an hour for our meals I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone!
We had a light dinner. Tacos con pollo. Nice bottle of red wine and bob's your oncle! The waiter is nice but very slow, outside the temp was 40c. Later he was more in contact with his customers..good place.
This café/restaurant is 2 streets behind the cathedral on a corner, easy to find. There are shady tables on the sidewalk as well all lots of indoor seating. As far as I know it is one of the few places open during the day on Sundays. Lunch is reasonable, cakes are good.
The decoration is modern and there are pleasant outdoor tables. I had a nice salad for lunch and wanted to have a delicious looking cheesecake for desert but I ran out of time as everything took ages. What a pity, initially was thinking of going back.
