One thing that I miss about living in California is the Hawaiian food. I live in the Midwest now and it is *lacking*.Every time I visit, it's a priority. This was walking distance of my hotel so I figured I would give it a try.I liked that everyone was still wearing masks, that was a bonus. The place itself felt a little outdated and sticky, but not always a bad thing as hole in the walls are usually the best.Food was super quick. The price for the amount of food is pretty fair. The food itself was good. Could have used a little more sauce and the chicken was VERY fatty, I tend to like the more lean pieces, but that's my choice.Overall, not the best Hawaiian but it definitely hit the spot.
Good customer service both upon entering and leaving. Food is good for bbq chicken but the short rib tends to go on the dried side and more fat. Overall it was good first time experience
Eyes have been on this place for Hawaiian bbq. They got good review so I have been wanting to try let's my crocodile tongue be the judges. Upon entering, the front counter lady greeted promptly. She even suggested recommended combo plate since it was my first time. I decided on short rib and bbq chicken. Bbq chicken was tasty. The short ribs were on the dried side and more fat for my preference. The macaroni salad and the rice was good. The portion is huge for $14.99. Food buddy got Hawaiian bbq mix which came with bbq chicken, bbq beef, and one piece of short rib for $15.99. After we finished, we were greeted again upon leaving. Customer service is good. The place can get busy around 12 to 3pm.
It's an OK ? place. Food was alright. the restroom had a funky smell. No vegetables like steamed broccoli or cabbage opposite of showen in the advertising picture.Food: 4/5
