I had cafe capomo, creamy spinach smoothie topped with toasted cacao seeds and a Buda salad that had everything I like.Thank you so much to the management for extending the hours.
I tried eating dinner here one night but it was closed (check the website for dinner times--not every night has dinner!). So, I came the following morning for breakfast. Loved my fresh organic coffee and squeezed OJ alongside a neat stack of whole grain pancakes with maple syrup and butter (why Mexican butter is better than anywhere else, I am not sure!). I was craving something like a traditional American-style breakfast (read: pancakes!) after 3 mornings of eggs and fruit, so this was a treat. The pancakes were nothing amazing, but glorious in their simplicity and definitely healthy with a few almonds thoughtfully strewn atop. The courtyard where Bistro Organico sits is a delight. I wish the waiter would have been a little more interactive as I was by myself and he didn't really check back in except to refill coffee and take the bill. Maybe the language barrier was too obvious!!!!
But instead can highly recommend the fish, stuffed peppers, avocado toast and avocado smoothies, cake, homemade granola, scones...I am sure the rest is just as fantastic and the staff are great. Perfect place for long lazy dinners and brunches, with a gorgeous garden and great music.
There are several excellent restaurants in San Pancho. Bistro Organico is one of the best -anywhere!Service is exceptional (thank you, Saul), the menus choices are creative and the food is fresh and delicious (thank you, kitchen staff). The salad choices are amazingly tasty and fresh and the the Mole dish with shrimp is among the wonderful entrees. The tequila flights are fun and the wine list continues to expand. Desserts are creative and scrumptious. (We look forward to visiting again in 2018!)
We visited the bistro and absolutely loved in. The restaurant is part of an inn and serves remarkable breakfasts and lunches- all organic and delicious food and drinks The setting is cozy and quiet away from the bustle of San Pancho. We highly recommend this place!
