Dickey's Barbecue Pit - San Marcos

We received a purchase get a free promotion for a brisket sandwich that requires an online order. We decided to use the action and we ordered/paid for lunch and made the 15 minutes drive to the store. When we went inside to pick up the order, the manager said in service that they did not participate in promotions or rewards and offered to give us one of our two sandwiches, but not both. He then opened the money drawer and gave us our money back?. I didn't think to get a refund for our time and gas.. We often came to this place, but something has changed lately and it seems as though they are often from many articles and their prices have risen significantly more than the other locations? It's unusual to see other girls in the store, so I'm pretty sure we're not the only ones who have bad experiences here.

Good I ordered online because I get an offer in email for a free barbecue sandwich. The order went through and then I went to the restaurant just to find out that this place does not accept these coupons. Not sure where the guilt lies, but overrun and find that my order was not prepared, but received, did not make me very happy.

Bad restaurant experience EVER. Rude cashier, I asked about manager, they told me he's never there! Were faces made to my own business and told why a FAMILY PAID 2 UNKNOWN TAXES of $6.50 EACH for a TO GO ORDER THEY PLACED THERE, and none of the employees could explain why?!!! They went without explanation! ASK QUESTIONS AND CALL CORPORATE! You know what they were told? The owner is not part of the franchise, so pay fees franchise fees. Really????

A Frito Pie ordered. Spicy bbq sauce and chips is all I have. I'd rather go back to live on the streets and whisper the garbage from others, then put the Frito Pie back in my mouth. No brisket chili or beans only brisket with spicy grill sauce and frito chips. No cheese. Fire all that was on layer or this place will fail as the nordahl site did.

Portions are nice but that?s about the only positive. If you?ve never had good bbq, you?ll probably like it. Sadly the pulled pork was very dry and the sauces weren?t great. If you?re in this shopping center, I?d give Mr. Taco your money instead
