La Mesa Escondida - San Rafael

I had Dinner here and was enchanted: the food as if it was in Italy, the owners gave an excellent service. Hence decided to have my catering for my birthday from them and it was the best decision ever. Thanks to the great chef Claudio everyone at the party was really happy. Last Saturday I returned with a group of 10 friends and again: pure satisfaction at all levels. Thanks so much for having us as your guests and treating us as friends will never forget this experience!

I ate at la Mesa Escondita exactly one year ago and I loved it. I really enjoyed the personal touch of the two Italian owners, Renzo and Giulia. Location is cozy and familiar. It is an hidden jewel, where attention to details is a must. I came back to Ibiza this year and I came back also to la Mesa. They renew it: it looks even more beautiful and they have changed the chef :Lorenzo!!! He is only 22 but when you try his menu... I came back 3 times in only 5 days!!! I have to say that this is one of the rare occasion where quality, ingredients and dishes improved, while changing the chef!!! Super well done!!! See you next time I ll be in Ibiza! I can’t wait to eat again your amazing baccalà Mantecato, the parmigiana and all others dishes!
