The resturant was lovely and yes foodies would love the menu ! Wow the rooms have a fireplace , patio for in room dining and the bathrooms look like they are for a royal family ! Felt very blessed to be in such a beautiful place ! Thank you to the Owner whom we briefly met . His French touch added to Mexico is a delight. We want to return to see his new place that will feature Chocolates; Just down the hill from this location . They hope to open in April 2021 . Should be wonderful !!
What a gem of a restaurant in the hills. The chef serves up a Michelin rated meal. The ambience and decor were exquisite. The gardens were spectacular and fit for wedding pix. The views of the valley were very special. The small town is charming and if you need a break from the beach this is a perfect day getaway. You want to check the days the restaurant is closed.
The 5-star reviews for this restaurant are legit. The place offers fine service (thank you, Omar, for the attentive and professional service , comfortable and classy decor, million dollar views, and excellent French/European food (which was a pleasant change after weeks of tacos in Mexico . Cheese fondue was great and kept warm over a small burner. Onion soup and potato cream soups were terrific. Beef bourguignon and Grandma’s chicken were great (and like the fondue, they were kept warm over small burners, which was great on an unusually cool New Years Day! . Mexican red wine bottle was very nice. A meal like this in a USA vacation town or city would have cost 4-5 times the price we paid. Easily our nicest meal in Mexico over two weeks. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! This is a piece of heaven !! And what a relaxing reprieve from Sayulita! My husband and I rented a vehicle in Bucerias and drove through mountains and beautiful scenery to San Sebastián. This hotel was our first stop ! We had lunch and booked a night right away! From the beautiful lush gardens, the unique fabulous decor , and incredible service, the and views WOW THE VIEWS!...this place is PERFECT!! I wish we were staying for another night. We finally slept well once we got here! The town is authentic Mexican! The cobblestone roads leading into the village is a step back more than 300 years !!
My husband and I were in San Sebastián del Oeste in the evening. We went to the villa because it has such a welcoming and plush garden entrance. When we saw the VIEW... and there were French music... and the outdoor furniture made You were like you on the Riviera... It was almost surreal! We were for an excellent meal (usually French cuisine). We had salad, smoked salmon salad, chicken buckle and wonderful trout. It was all great together with these wonderful roles and an anchovy and pesto godfather who was for to die! We traveled with our dog, a little Shih Tzu, and the staff could not have been more nice for us and the dog. We found our waiter Antonio to be friendly, helpful and so professional about the top. This place is a small piece of paradise in SS del Oreste. If you go to dinner, come early enough to see the fabulous sunset! Sharon
