Palm - San Xavier

The brunch experience this year, 2024, was very good although the food choices were't as good as Mother's Day 2023. Then we had numerous salad choices plus many desserts to choose from. We also had a filet mignon option for our main course. This year the service was excellent with very affable servers who took good care of our needs requests.

The place itself is beautiful. Great views. For the number of people there, service was slow. We waited for a while. The servers were great! But just very slow! I have no clue why!

The menu consisted of 2 choices of hamburgers and Salmon with brussel sprouts and small potatoes. The hamburger we had was ok. The salmon was over cooked and the brussel sprouts were hard. The menu needs major expansion.

The Palm bar has been redecorated. Very nice. There is also a new small coffee bar adjacent to it for guests to enjoy. It was closed when we were there in the evening. I imagine it is open in the mornings. The view of the city is great and the new menu is good. I would like to see the house wines upgraded a bit. They don't seem to be on par with the rest of the resort. Will definitely be back.

The setting from the patio is beautiful. The views are serene and the staff is kind. We originally were going to have some Happy hour drinks then return for dinner later, but ended up just staying the whole time and dining at the restaurant after happy hour. The server was very kind and accommodating, if not always 100% accurate with our orders. The food was yummy and the atmosphere was relaxing. For dessert the churros were delicious.
