We both ordered the vegan taco, and I asked if one would be enough, which she assured me it would be. It took about 6-10 minutes for our orders to be prepared, but when we received our plates, we were pleasantly surprised by the presentation. The first bite of the taco brought us immense joy and satisfaction. My sister, who is not vegan, even commented that she could eat this every day for the rest of her life, which was the highest compliment to the chef. The chef, Charlotte, used to run a popular restaurant called Common Knowledge in Sandpoint before it closed down, showcasing her experience and creativity. The vegan taco is a must-try, along with other options like the Curry Rice Bowl. The taste of the tacos is exceptional and well worth the $8.00 price tag (as of September 2016). There are outdoor seating options at Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters, where it's preferred to make a purchase to sit there, or you can also find seating at a nearby park. Overall, this food truck is a great choice for delicious vegan food.
I visited my sister in Idaho and we had heard about this food truck, so we decided to check it out for ourselves today. We both ordered the vegan taco and I asked if one would be enough, and she assured me that it would be. It took about 6-10 minutes for our order to be prepared. When we received our food, we were delighted by the presentation, and when we took our first bite, the joy continued! About a third of the way through the meal, my non-vegan sister said to me, "I could eat this for the rest of my life!" That is the highest compliment that the chef could receive! She ended up finishing her meal, and I took half of mine home. Chef Charlotte used to run a popular restaurant in Sandpoint called Common Knowledge before it closed, and her experience and creativity are evident in the food from this truck, which is a must-visit. In addition to the vegan taco, there are other vegan options such as a curry rice bowl. The vegan taco is a must-try; it will delight your taste buds, and it was only $8.00 (price as of September 2016.) There are outdoor seats at Evans Brothers Coffee nearby, and you can purchase something from there to enjoy with your meal, but that may not always be an option so it's best to check with them. There is also a park nearby. (Review updated on September 14, 2016)
