Golden Teriyaki Sushi - Santa Ana

I had a spicy tuna roll bento and a crunchy sushi roll bento. Both had 1 tempura shrimp, which was very good, as well as 2 tempura vegetables which were okay. Both sushis weren't good at all. It also had 3 sashimi, shrimp, tuna, and salmon, the shrimp and tuna tasted old and the salmon was very chewy. The lettuce in the salad was soft and the sauce had a weird beef taste to it.

I ordered the California rolls and Teriyaki chicken. It was an online order and the estimated time to be ready was about 45 min. Seemed a little long but this place is close by and the food looked good. I decided to just get there ahead of time and check out the spot. It has a small dining area. There were a handful of people there but they all appeared to be waiting for takeout. The woman behind the counter was calling out orders and the crowd inside was instantly gone. I asked if my order was ready by chance and it was ready to go on the counter. About 15 min ahead of the expected time. Glad I asked. Overall the food was good the service was great. So if you order online, may want to call and ask how long before waiting.
