The food at this restaurant is delicious! The Tom Yum with chicken is a generous plate of noodles that is difficult to finish, and the Northern Thai soup is a tasty twist on Tom Kha Kai. However, it is important to note that this is not an inexpensive option. With just one glass of wine, three of us came close to spending $100. Additionally, sitting at the counter can be very noisy, so it is something to consider before dining here.
During my latest visit, the restaurant forgot to add the toppings on my khao soi. This time, the chicken was overcooked and the noodles were undercooked, clumping together. The spring rolls and coconut water were not up to par. It seems like the quality has declined since the pandemic. The food seemed rushed and the service was subpar. Additionally, I felt dehydrated and salty afterwards, possibly due to high sodium use or MSG. I doubt I will return, as I want to preserve the good memories of the food I used to enjoy here. I believe the restaurant has reached its peak.
Decent portion for lunch, ordered mild spicy for hangover noodle and the sauce is not strong at all, even my 4-year-old non-essential toy can handle it
Had the kater nudel and khao soi and ate it directly outside the market. hangover nudel was absolutely delicious and spicy. beautiful garlic and basil aromas. the khao soi was juicy and as melted in her mouth. kokosmilch taste was good. all washed off the market with a pear beetle. very good experience.
