All the bars in the three holiday countries are pearls of a fantastic necklace. To take a breath, we stop every now and then we enter, from time to time, to sip a coffee along the path that once was the road of the train of Val Gardena, the walk from Selva to Ortisei. But in Santa Cristina, Cafè Calès is a fixed stage, always. It is not hunger to attract us, because the 4 stars spoil us. It is the gorge that brings us here, and the irresistible desire to sit on the hill, with a look at the enchanting valley, the waterfall and the Sassolungo. And to delight us with chocolate and whipped cream, yoghurt with berries, desserts of the house. Sometimes we also give ourselves a transgression with the spritz and the... “salatini”. The place is really friendly, well managed by very good people, educated and always available.

The cafe is located just above St. Christina, in the right weather with the best view of the Langkofel group. We had coffee (she neat) and Kaiserschmarren as well as homemade coves. Both a poem and really delicious. The service: perfectly friendly and unobtrusive to the guests facing price performance ratio perfect everything in everything for the enjoyer of a classic cafe with great food!

We can find both salty foods, such as sandwiches or soups, ice creams and cakes. Nice view.

Very friendly owner, super tasty ice, strudel and biscuits. we were there almost daily during our holiday. 1.50 euro for a ball self-made ice we do not find overpriced. the view from the terrace is great and invites you to stay.
