Dolceforno Caffe - SANTERAMO IN COLLE

Absolutely a very welcome and cozy place. We went with family and friends , and we ordered pizza for the kids (was impossible not to try a slice as they are renowned to be also one of the best baker of the region). We left the owners Michele Tiziana to order for us , as they had an incredible selection of meat. We stared with some thin slice carpaccio of beef , salumi and fresh cheeses. For main course we had variety of roared meat , from salsiccia to T-bone steak . Together they brought the famous Patate cipolla al forno (roast potato onions). For dessert we had a variety of local sweet that they were to die for. When we booked vacation in Puglia , this was what we were looking for, divine food at good price. Not only to have breakfast as the name may suggest but for lunch and especially for dinner. I had my doubts about eating meat but I was completely wrong. Meat was spectacular and delicious and I fully suggest any traveller to stop by on the way of they pass by Santeramo. Value for quality is exceptional. Service perfect and very attentive.
