Rey - Santiago de Compostela

I had an asparagus and was charged for a jamon (about 30% more … I was in a rush and had not checked the receipt before I left. What a shame. Food was decent service was good so i was ready to give them a 5/5, and the bill totally ruined it. If you’re a tourist, you better make sure you’re paying for what you owe..

Simple and pleasant atmosphere and the food is authentic Galician and delicious, reasonably priced and service is excellent. There are also tables on the street on nice days. Of the 4 days, I was in Santiago, I ate here 3 times and had a great experience each time. (They were closed on my last day there, or it would have been 4 times. It's a smaller restaurant so can get busy and you may have to be patient or wait for a table but definitely worth it.

Very attentive staff, great food, lovely atmosphere. They brought a bowl of water for my dog without me having me having to ask. A really great lunch! 5 stars!

Llegamos a Santiago después de llegar a hacer el camino, nuestra sorpresa fue que cuando buscamos un lugar para comer, todo estaba lleno, además de menús caros y dedicados al turismo. Después de buscar por las calles y dejar el tumulto, encontramos el restaurante del rey que cumplió el 110% con el espíritu del peregrino. Comimos un menú dentro de un precio razonable y con una elaboración casera y deliciosa. altamente recomendado. También tenemos que destacar la amabilidad del camarero, el regente del restaurante, hiso, una persona cercana, amistosa y atenta. Te recomiendo no olvidar estos restaurantes y salir de las calles más turísticas porque puedes perderte estas joyas de gastronomía y atención. Muchas gracias.
